The Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant is a lightweight and durable option designed for comfort and protection in hazardous work environments. Constructed from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, this pant utilizes flame-resistant technology to ensure safety. Key features include two front slant pockets and two back welt pockets, providing both convenience and a professional appearance. With an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2, this work pant is compliant with NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, and adheres to ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 standards for arc flash, as well as OSHA 1910.269 compliance. For product care, it is crucial to launder according to the garment label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing these substances, fabric softeners, and starch. The recommended washing method includes machine washing warm (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, with the option for dry cleaning, ensuring that contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils are effectively removed to maintain fabric performance.
