Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability, engineered with flame-resistant technology to withstand the most hazardous work environments. The pants feature a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, complemented by two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets that provide a professional appearance while offering secure storage. With an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and rated as Cat 2, these pants are constructed from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. They comply with multiple safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269. Product care instructions recommend reading the garment label and laundering per those instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The recommended washing method is to wash separately from other garments in a machine with warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) using only detergent, and the pants are dry cleanable. It is advised to follow these laundering instructions to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants persist after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
