The Drifire® FR Essentials Work Shirt is a lightweight and durable garment designed to offer comfort and safety for demanding work environments. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton nylon blend, it ensures breathability while providing protection with an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as Cat Level 2. It features two front chest pockets for convenient storage and a back pleat that allows ease of movement. This work shirt is made in the Dominican Republic using fabric sourced from the USA and is compliant with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462, as well as UL certified to NFPA 2112 and compliant with OSHA 1910.269. Proper care for the garment includes laundering according to the instructions on the label, which recommends avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and certain detergents, while also stipulating to wash separately in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only. To maintain fabric performance, it is important to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils through proper washing; if contaminants persist after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
