Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability while providing superior protection in hazardous work environments. Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans feature a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric and are constructed with two front slant pockets for easy access and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage. The pants have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and fall under Category 2 for arc flash protection. Made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, they are compliant with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, ensuring not to use hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, and to avoid fabric softeners or starch. Garments should be washed separately, machine washed in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and are dry cleanable. Following the provided washing instructions is crucial for removing contaminants and maintaining fabric performance; if contaminants persist after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
