This work shirt is constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, ensuring breathability and protection. It features two front chest pockets for additional storage and a back pleat for ease of movement. Made in the Dominican Republic with fabric sourced from the USA, this shirt boasts an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT level 2. In terms of compliance, the shirt meets several standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and adheres to OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the accompanying instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing them, as well as fabric softeners or starch. Laundry recommendations include washing separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and ensuring the garment is dry cleanable. Following these washing instructions is essential to remove any contaminants and maintain the fabric's performance, particularly when soiled with dirt, grease, oils, etc. If contaminants persist after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
