The Drifire® FR Essentials work shirt is designed for those who prioritize comfort, durability, and safety in their work environment. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, this lightweight shirt provides optimal breathability while ensuring protection. It features two front chest pockets for added storage and a back pleat to enhance ease of movement. This shirt is made in the Dominican Republic using fabric sourced from the USA, and it offers an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² with a cat level of Cat 2. The shirt complies with several important safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, meets ASTM F1506 for arc flash, and conforms to CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For maintenance, the garment label should be followed for care instructions, including washing separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, or starch, and ensuring the garment is cleaned to maintain fabric performance when soiled. If contaminants persist after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
