The DRIFIRE® FR Deluxe Insulated Bib is dual certified for protection against flash fire and arc flash hazards, featuring a water repellant duck shell that effectively sheds moisture while a lightweight quilted liner provides warmth. This bib includes adjustable buckles at each shoulder strap for convenience and a 26" zipper calf closure for easy boot entry. It is designed with multiple pockets, including double bib pockets, two back patch pockets, and two side tool pockets, ensuring easy access to essential items. Additionally, it boasts a double chap front that allows for the insertion of knee pads and features waistline sizing for a more comfortable, custom fit. The bib has an arc rating of 16 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat 2. Constructed from 13 oz. 100% FR cotton duck with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, the product complies with several safety standards: it meets NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506 for arc flash protection, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, adheres to CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and complies with OSHA 1910.269. For care, it is important to follow the garment label instructions, which recommend avoiding chlorine bleach and detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softeners, or starch. The bib is dry cleanable and can be machine washed warm (maximum temperature of 165°F / 74°C) using detergent only; proper washing is essential to maintain fabric performance and remove contaminants like dirt, grease, and oils. If contaminants remain post-laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is advised.
