This work shirt is crafted from a premium 6.5 oz cotton/nylon blend, ensuring breathability while providing protection with an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and meeting CAT level 2 standards. It features two front chest pockets for additional storage and a back pleat for ease of movement. Made in the Dominican Republic using fabric sourced from the USA, this shirt complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, the garment should be laundered according to the instructions on the label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing these chemicals, fabric softeners, and starch. It is recommended to wash the shirt separately from other garments in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. Proper laundering is essential to maintain fabric performance and ensure the garment remains safe and functional, particularly if it becomes contaminated with dirt, grease, or oils; if such contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is advised.
