They feature lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets that offer a professional appearance while providing secure storage. The arc rating is 9.2 cal/cm², and it is classified as CAT 2. The material consists of a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. This product is compliant with NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, compliant with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, compliant with CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and adheres to OSHA 1910.269. For product care, readers should follow the instructions on the garment label and avoid using hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The recommended laundering instructions include washing separately from other garments, with a machine wash at a maximum of 165°F (74°C) using detergent only, and the garment is dry cleanable. Proper washing is essential to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance when soiled with dirt, greases, oils, etc. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
