The DRIFIRE® FR Deluxe Insulated Bib is dual certified to protect against flash fire and arc flash hazards. The water repellent duck fabric helps shed moisture while the lightweight quilted liner provides warmth. This bib features convenient disconnect adjustable buckles at each shoulder strap and a 26" zipper calf closure for easy boot entry, as well as multiple pockets for carrying essentials. Key features include a concealed heavy-duty snap fly closure, double bib pockets, two back patch pockets, and two tool pockets on the sides. The double chap front allows for knee pads to be inserted, and the waistline sizing offers a more comfortable custom fit. The bib has an arc rating of 16 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2. It is made from 13 oz. 100% FR cotton duck with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment. Compliance certifications include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and compliance with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, avoiding chlorine bleach and detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softeners, or starch. The bib is dry cleanable and machine washable in warm water (max. 165°F / 74°C) using only detergent. Washing according to these instructions is essential to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
