Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials work shirt, a lightweight garment designed for an optimal balance of comfort, durability, and safety. This work shirt is constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, ensuring breathability while providing protection with an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm², categorized as CAT 2. It features two front chest pockets for added storage and a back pleat for ease of movement. Manufactured in the Dominican Republic with fabric sourced from the USA, this work shirt complies with several safety standards: NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For proper care, it is recommended to follow the garment label instructions, avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. It should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and is also dry cleanable. Maintaining these care instructions is essential to preserve the fabric's performance and safety features over time.
