Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability. Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans are built to withstand hazardous work environments. The features include a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric that offers superior comfort and long-lasting protection, two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets that provide a professional appearance while ensuring secure storage. The pant has an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat 2. It is made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend and is compliant with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E, UL certified to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 for arc flash compliance in Canada, and it also complies with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder per the instructions provided. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. Wash separately from other garments in a machine on a warm setting (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, as it is also dry cleanable. Proper washing is essential to remove contaminants that can affect fabric performance; if contaminants persist after laundering, discontinuing the use of the garment is advised.
