Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials work shirt, a lightweight garment designed to provide an ideal combination of comfort, durability, and safety. Crafted from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, this shirt ensures breathability and protection, with an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and categorized as CAT level 2. It features two front chest pockets for extra storage and a back pleat to allow ease of movement. Made in the Dominican Republic with fabric sourced from the USA, this work shirt is compliant with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions recommend laundering according to the garment label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, or starch, and washing separately in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with only detergent, while also being dry cleanable. Proper washing is necessary to maintain fabric performance and to remove any contaminants from dirt, greases, and oils; if contaminants persist post-laundering, discontinuation of use is advised.
