Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans provide superior protection in hazardous work environments. The features include a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, ensuring long-lasting protection, along with two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage. The pants have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and are categorized as Cat 2. Compliance certifications include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is essential to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. Machine wash the pants separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) using only detergent, and they are also dry cleanable. Proper laundering is crucial to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed after washing, it is recommended to discontinue the use of the garment.
