Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans feature lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection. The design includes two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, along with two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage. The arc rating is 9.2 cal/cm² and classified as Cat level 2, made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. Compliance standards include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder per the instructions, including avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing them, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The washing instructions specify to wash separately from other garments in a machine at a warm setting (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and that the garment is dry cleanable. Following these care instructions helps to maintain the fabric performance, particularly to remove any contaminants such as dirt, grease, or oils; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
