Introducing the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials work shirt, a lightweight garment designed for an optimal balance of comfort, durability, and safety. This work shirt is crafted from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton nylon blend, ensuring breathability and protection. It features two front chest pockets for additional storage and a back pleat to facilitate ease of movement. Made in the Dominican Republic with fabric sourced from the USA, this shirt has an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and is categorized as Cat 2. The shirt complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, complies with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, meets CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and adheres to OSHA 1910.269. For proper product care, the garment label should be followed closely, avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing these substances, fabric softeners, or starch. It should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and is dry cleanable. Washing according to these instructions is crucial to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants persist after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
