Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant engineered for all-day comfort and durability, designed to endure hazardous work environments. This pant features a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric composed of a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, providing superior comfort and long-lasting protection. It includes two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, as well as two back welt pockets that offer a professional appearance while ensuring secure storage. The arc rating is 9.2 cal/cm² and it is classified as CAT level 2. The pant complies with several important standards including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, meets ASTM F1506 for arc flash, complies with CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and adheres to OSHA 1910.269 regulations. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder per the instructions provided, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The washing instructions specify washing separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and it is also dry cleanable. Proper laundering is essential to maintain fabric performance when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, greases, oils, etc., and if contaminants cannot be removed, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
