The Drifire® FR Deluxe Insulated Bib is dual certified to protect against flash fire and arc flash hazards, featuring a water repellant duck fabric that sheds moisture and a lightweight quilted liner for warmth. This bib includes convenient disconnect adjustable buckles at each shoulder strap and a 26" zipper calf closure for easy boot entry, along with multiple pockets for optimal storage: concealed heavy-duty snap fly closure, double bib pockets, two back patch pockets, and two tool pockets on the sides. Designed for functionality, it has a double chap front with an opening to insert knee pads and waistline sizing for a comfortable custom fit. The bib boasts an arc rating of 16 cal/cm² and is categorized as CAT 2. Constructed from 13 oz. 100% FR cotton duck with DWR, it adheres to several compliance standards including NFPA 70E, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 for Canada, while also complying with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to follow the garment label instructions for laundering, avoid bleach and fabric softeners, and wash at a maximum temperature of 165°F (74°C) with detergent only. Proper maintenance is essential to ensure fabric performance, especially when soiled with contaminants; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
