Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans feature a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric composed of a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, ensuring superior comfort and long-lasting protection. The design includes two front slant pockets for easy access and two back welt pockets that offer a professional appearance while providing secure storage. The pants have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and are classified as Cat 2. Compliance certifications include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and compliance with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions provided, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The recommended wash method is to wash separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and the garment is also dry cleanable. Proper washing and care are essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when the garment becomes soiled with contaminants such as dirt, greases, or oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, discontinuing use of the garment is advised.
