The DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant is a lightweight and durable option designed for all-day comfort in hazardous work environments. Constructed with a flame-resistant fabric, these pants feature two front slant pockets for easy access and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage. The pants have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and are classified as Cat level 2, made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. They comply with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions emphasize following the garment label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing these substances, as well as fabric softeners or starch. They should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and are dry cleanable. Proper laundering is essential to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed after washing, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
