The DRIFIRE® FR Deluxe Insulated Bib is dual certified to protect against flash fire and arc flash hazards, featuring a water-repellant duck fabric that helps shed moisture and a lightweight quilted liner for warmth. Key attributes include convenient disconnect adjustable buckles at each shoulder strap for a customized fit, a 26" zipper calf closure for easy boot entry, and multiple pockets including double bib pockets, two back patch pockets, and two tool pockets on the sides for carrying essential items. The bib also includes a double chap front designed with an opening for knee pad insertion and a concealed heavy-duty snap fly closure. It has an Arc Rating of 16 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT Level 2. The material consists of 13 oz. 100% FR cotton duck with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment. Compliance standards include adherence to NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, compliance with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, compliance with CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For maintenance, it is advisable to follow the garment label instructions for laundering, avoid using bleach or detergents containing bleach and hydrogen peroxide, refrain from using fabric softeners or starch, and dry clean as needed. The bib can be machine washed warm (maximum temperature 165°F / 74°C) with detergent only, and it is important to wash as instructed to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with dirt, greases, or oils. Discontinue use of the garment if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering.
