Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials work shirt, a lightweight garment that strikes an ideal balance between comfort, durability, and safety. This work shirt is constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, ensuring breathability while providing protection. It features two front chest pockets for extra storage and a back pleat that allows for ease of movement. Made in the Dominican Republic with fabric sourced from the USA, the shirt boasts an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and is categorized as CAT 2. The shirt complies with various safety standards including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 for arc flash compliance in Canada, along with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to follow the garment label instructions, which advise against using hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The recommended laundering process involves washing the shirt separately from other garments in a machine with warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) using only detergent. The shirt is also dry cleanable, and proper maintenance is essential to remove contaminants for optimal fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is advised.
