This pant features lightweight, flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, with two front slant pockets and two back welt pockets for convenient storage and a professional appearance. The pant has an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and is categorized as Cat 2. Constructed from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, it complies with industry standards including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269. For care, it is essential to follow the garment label instructions, washing separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, and starch. Proper laundering is crucial to maintain fabric performance and to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is advised to discontinue use.
