Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans are suitable for the most hazardous work environments. The lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric provides superior comfort and long-lasting protection, featuring two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage alongside two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage. The pant has an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and falls under Category Level 2 (CAT 2). Made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, it complies with multiple standards: NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is essential to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions provided, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners and starch. The garment should be washed separately from others in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. It is advised to follow these laundering instructions to maintain fabric performance, particularly when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, greases, or oils, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use is recommended.
