Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability, engineered with flame-resistant technology to withstand hazardous work environments. The pants feature a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, with two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, as well as two back welt pockets for a professional appearance while offering secure storage. They have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and fall under Category 2. The material composition is a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. Compliance is achieved with various standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions provided, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The washing instructions recommend washing separately from other garments, machine washing warm (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and the pants are also dry cleanable. Following these care instructions will help maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
