Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, designed for all-day comfort and durability. This lightweight pant is engineered with flame-resistant technology, making it suitable for hazardous work environments. It features lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, along with two front slant pockets for easy access and storage, and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage. The pants have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and are classified as CAT 2, constructed from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. Compliance standards include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and adherence to OSHA 1910.269. Product care guidelines recommend laundering according to the garment label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The recommended wash method is to wash separately from other garments in a machine wash at a maximum temperature of 165°F (74°C) with detergent only, and dry cleaning is permissible. To maintain fabric performance, it is important to wash the garment as instructed, particularly when soiled with contaminants such as dirt, grease, or oils; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use.
