Introducing the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Zip Hoodie, made with durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection in hazardous work environments. This hoodie features a large drawstring hood that fits over a hard hat, rib knit cuffs and waistband to prevent riding up, and a generous cut that allows for unrestricted movement. Constructed from soft FR/AR midweight fleece, it provides warmth and protection, with an arc rating of 19 cal/cm² and a CAT level of CAT 2. The material weighs 10 oz. and ensures compliance with several safety standards: NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions provided. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. Wash separately from other garments, machine wash warm (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. Proper laundering is essential to maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
