Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant engineered with flame resistant technology for all-day comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. This pant features a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, along with two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets that provide a professional appearance while ensuring secure storage. The arc rating stands at 9.2 cal/cm² with a category level of Cat 2, and the material is a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. Compliance is assured as it meets NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, compliant to ASTM F1506 for arc flash, adheres to CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and complies with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions provided, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The recommended laundering method includes washing separately from other garments in warm water at a maximum temperature of 165°F/74°C with detergent only, and the garment is dry cleanable. Proper washing according to these instructions is essential to maintain fabric performance and to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, or oils; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
