The kit includes a shirt featuring FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim, a button-down collar, and an adjustable 2-button cuff closure, as well as a left front chest pocket for added utility. Constructed from 6.5 oz. Westex® DH material, this garment is designed with moisture-wicking and breathable fabric to enhance comfort while offering a non-restricting cut that allows for easy range of motion. The shirt has an arc rating of 8.9 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2. It complies with several safety standards including ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E for arc flash, and CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada. Additionally, it is UL certified to NFPA 2112 and meets ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3. Product care requires laundering according to the garment label's instructions, avoiding bleach, chlorine, fabric softeners, or starch, with machine wash warm (max. 150°F) being the recommended method. To maintain fabric performance, ensure contaminants are removed; if they cannot be cleaned after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
