The kit includes a shirt featuring FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim, a button-down collar, and an adjustable 2-button cuff closure. It also has a left front chest pocket and is made from moisture-wicking and breathable fabric for improved comfort. The shirt is designed with a non-restricting cut for easy range of motion. It has an arc rating of 8.9 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat 2 protection. The material is constructed from 6.5 oz. Westex® DH. This product complies with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E for arc flash, and CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada. Additionally, it is UL certified to NFPA 2112 and meets ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3 standards. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions. Do not use bleach, chlorine, fabric softeners, or starch. The shirt is dry cleanable and can be machine washed warm (max. 150°F). It is important to wash according to these instructions to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with dirt, greases, or oils, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
