Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. This garment features a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, equipped with two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, as well as two back welt pockets for a professional appearance while ensuring secure storage. The pants have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and are categorized as CAT 2, made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. Compliance standards include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. Product care requires following the garment label instructions for laundering, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, and not using fabric softeners or starch. The pants should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and are dry cleanable. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash according to the provided instructions to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
