The kit includes a FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim button-down collar shirt made from 6.5 oz. Westex® DH fabric, featuring an adjustable 2-button cuff closure and a left front chest pocket. This garment is designed for improved comfort with moisture-wicking and breathable fabric, ensuring a non-restricting cut for an easy range of motion. The shirt has an arc rating of 8.9 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2. It complies with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and is UL certified to NFPA 2112. Additionally, it meets ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3 standards. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder per the instructions, avoiding bleach, chlorine, fabric softeners, and starch. It is dry cleanable and can be machine washed warm (max. 150°F). Proper washing is essential to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils to maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
