Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability, engineered with flame-resistant technology to withstand hazardous work environments. This pant includes lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, along with two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance while offering secure storage. Key features include an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm², categorized as Cat 2, and made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. The product complies with NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, adheres to ASTM F1506 for arc flash, and meets CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The garment should be washed separately from other garments, using a machine wash with warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) and detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. Proper washing is essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with dirt, grease, oils, etc., and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
