The rib knit cuffs and waistband prevent riding up, while a covered FR zipper front closure adds durability. The garment is lined for added comfort and protection and is inherently flame-resistant, ensuring that the FR protection will not wash or wear out. The FR fabric is designed to not melt, drip, or ignite. Cord locks keep the hood cinched and in place, and two front patch pockets offer utility. The arc rating is 39 cal/cm², with a category level of CAT 3. The material composition includes 14 oz. FR fleece and a 6.5 oz. waffle liner. It is compliant with CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E for arc flash, and NFPA 2112. For product care, it is essential to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, fabric softeners, ironing, and dry cleaning.
