Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight and durable option designed for all-day comfort in hazardous work environments. The pant features a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric that ensures superior comfort and long-lasting protection. It includes two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, along with two back welt pockets that maintain a professional appearance while providing secure storage. The arc rating is 9.2 cal/cm², with a CAT level of CAT 2. The material is a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. The work pant complies with multiple safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, complies with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, meets CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and adheres to OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The recommended wash method is to machine wash separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and it is also dry cleanable. Proper laundering is essential to maintain the fabric's performance, especially when soiled with dirt, greases, or oils, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
