Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability. Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans are crafted from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend fabric that provides superior comfort and long-lasting protection in hazardous work environments. The pants feature two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, along with two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage. With an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm², they are rated at Cat level 2. Compliance with industry standards includes NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing either. The pants should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and are dry cleanable. Proper washing according to these instructions is essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, greases, oils, etc. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
