Introducing the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Zip Hoodie, designed for comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. This hoodie features durable flame-resistant fabric that ensures superior comfort and long-lasting protection, along with a large drawstring hood that fits over a hard hat. It includes rib knit cuffs and a waistband to prevent riding up and has a generous cut for unrestricted movement. Made from soft FR/AR midweight fleece, it provides warmth and protection with an arc rating of 19 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2. The material composition consists of 10 oz. FR fleece. This hoodie complies with NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, complies with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, and meets CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, while also adhering to OSHA 1910.269 standards. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. It should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and is dry cleanable. Proper washing is crucial to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use is recommended.
