Introducing the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Pullover Hoodie, designed for comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. This hoodie features durable flame-resistant fabric, a large drawstring hood that fits over hard hats, rib knit cuffs and waistband to prevent riding up, and a generous cut allowing for unrestricted movement. Constructed from soft FR/AR midweight fleece, it provides warmth and protection with an arc rating of 19 cal/cm² and falls under category 2. The material is 10 oz. FR fleece. Compliance standards include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to instructions; avoid hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The garment should be washed separately, machine washed warm (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and is dry cleanable. Following these care instructions is essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when contaminants such as dirt, grease, or oils are present. If contaminants persist after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
