Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans are ideal for hazardous work environments. The pants feature lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance along with secure storage. The arc rating is 9.2 cal/cm², and they are classified as Cat 2. The material consists of a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. Compliance standards include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and compliance with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions provided. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing these substances, as well as fabric softeners or starch. Wash separately from other garments in a machine wash warm (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and the garment is dry cleanable. Following these washing instructions helps maintain fabric performance by removing contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
