This hoodie is made from durable flame-resistant fabric, ensuring superior comfort and long-lasting protection. It features a large drawstring hood that fits over a hard hat, rib knit cuffs and a waistband to prevent riding up, and a generous cut that allows for unrestricted movement. The soft FR/AR midweight fleece provides warmth and protection, with an arc rating of 19 cal/cm² and classified as CAT 2. The material consists of 10 oz. FR fleece. This product complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and complies with ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing those substances, fabric softeners, or starch. The washing instructions specify to wash separately from other garments in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and the garment is dry cleanable. Proper care is essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with dirt, greases, oils, etc., and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
