Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight and durable pant engineered for all-day comfort and protection in hazardous work environments. This pant features lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric that provides superior comfort and long-lasting protection, along with two front slant pockets and two back welt pockets for convenient storage and a professional appearance. With an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and categorized as CAT 2, the material consists of a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. The work pant complies with several standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 for arc flash, as well as CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada. It also complies with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The work pant should be washed separately from other garments, with machine washing at a maximum of 165°F/74°C using only detergent, and is dry cleanable. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash according to the specified instructions to remove contaminants like dirt, greases, and oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is advised to discontinue use of the garment.
