Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight and durable option designed for all-day comfort and resilience in hazardous work environments. These pants are constructed from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend with flame-resistant technology, ensuring long-lasting protection. Key features include two front slant pockets for easy access and convenience, as well as two back welt pockets that provide a professional appearance and secure storage. The pants have an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and are classified as CAT 2. They comply with various safety standards, including NFPA 70E, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For care, the garment should be laundered according to the label instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and fabric softeners, and should be washed separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash the pants regularly to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is recommended to discontinue use.
