Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant engineered with flame-resistant technology designed for all-day comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. This product features lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric for superior comfort and long-lasting protection, along with two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance while providing secure storage. The arc rating is 9.2 cal/cm², and it is classified as Cat level 2. The material composition is a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. The pant complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to read the garment label and launder per the instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. Wash separately from other garments using a machine wash at warm temperatures (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only; the garment is also dry cleanable. To maintain fabric performance, it is recommended to wash according to these instructions to remove contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
