This pant features a lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric that ensures superior comfort and long-lasting protection. It includes two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, as well as two back welt pockets for a professional appearance and secure storage options. The arc rating is 9.2 cal/cm², and it is classified as Cat 2. Constructed from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend, this pant is compliant with NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 standards for arc flash in Canada, while also complying with OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions include washing separately from other garments, machine washing warm (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. To maintain fabric performance, it is crucial to follow washing instructions to remove contaminants like dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
