Introducing the Drifire® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight garment designed for all-day comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. The pant features lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric that provides superior comfort and long-lasting protection. It includes two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, as well as two back welt pockets that offer a professional appearance while ensuring secure storage. The pant has an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat level 2, made from a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. It complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, follows ASTM F1506 for arc flash, complies with CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and meets OSHA 1910.269 regulations. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The laundering instructions specify to wash separately from other garments in a machine on warm (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and the garment is dry cleanable. Following these care instructions is essential to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is advisable.
