The kit includes a shirt featuring FR 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective comfort trim, a button-down collar, and an adjustable 2-button cuff closure, along with a left front chest pocket. The fabric is moisture-wicking and breathable, enhancing comfort, while the non-restricting cut allows for an easy range of motion. The shirt has an arc rating of 8.9 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2, constructed from 6.5 oz. Westex® DH material. It is compliant with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and is UL certified to NFPA 2112. Additionally, it meets ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3 standards. Product care instructions recommend reading the garment label and laundering according to the specified instructions, avoiding bleach, chlorine, fabric softeners, or starch. The shirt can be dry cleaned or machine washed warm (maximum 150°F), and proper washing is necessary to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
