Introducing the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Zip Hoodie, designed for comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. This hoodie is made from durable flame-resistant fabric, ensuring superior comfort and long-lasting protection. It features a large drawstring hood that fits over a hard hat, rib knit cuffs and waistband to prevent riding up, and a generous cut that allows for unrestricted movement. The soft FR/AR midweight fleece provides warmth and protection, with an arc rating of 19 cal/cm² and categorized as Cat 2. The material consists of 10 oz. FR fleece. The hoodie complies with NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269 standards. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder per the instructions provided, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, and starch. The hoodie should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. To maintain fabric performance, it is important to wash according to these instructions to remove contaminants like dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants persist post-laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
