The kit includes a soft FR/AR heavyweight fleece garment designed for warmth and protection, featuring a large drawstring hood that fits over a hard hat and a generous cut for unrestricted movement. It is equipped with rib knit cuffs and a waistband to prevent riding up, and it is lined for added comfort and protection. The inherently flame-resistant fabric ensures that FR protection will not wash or wear out, while the FR material will not melt, drip, or ignite. Additional features include cord locks to keep the hood cinched and in place, a front pocket, an arc rating of 39 cal/cm², and a cat level of Cat 3. The material specifications include 14 oz. FR fleece and a 6.5 oz. waffle liner. In terms of compliance, the garment is compliant with CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E for arc flash, and NFPA 2112. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, which include machine washing in warm water, tumble drying on low, and avoiding bleach, fabric softeners, ironing, or dry cleaning.
