Introducing the Drifire® FR Essentials Zip Hoodie, designed for comfort and durability in hazardous work environments. This hoodie features durable flame-resistant fabric that provides superior comfort and long-lasting protection, a large drawstring hood that fits over hard hats, rib knit cuffs and waistband to prevent riding up, and a generous cut for unrestricted movement. Made from soft FR/AR midweight fleece, it offers warmth and protection with an arc rating of 19 cal/cm² and categorized as Cat 2. The material is 10 oz. FR fleece, ensuring both safety and comfort. Compliance standards include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and adherence to OSHA 1910.269. Proper product care involves reading the garment label for laundering instructions, avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing either, as well as refraining from fabric softeners and starch. For optimal fabric performance, wash separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and dry cleaning is permissible. Ensure to follow washing instructions to remove contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils; if contaminants persist post-laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
