Rib knit cuffs and a waistband prevent riding up, while the garment is lined for added comfort and protection. The inherently flame-resistant fabric provides FR protection that will not wash or wear out, and it is designed to avoid melting, dripping, or igniting. Additional attributes include cord locks to keep the hood cinched and in place, a front pocket, an arc rating of 39 cal/cm², and a category level of Cat 3. The material composition consists of 14 oz. FR fleece and a 6.5 oz. waffle liner. Compliance includes adherence to CSA Z462 and ASTM F1506 for arc flash, OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 2112. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder as instructed, avoiding chlorine bleach, detergents containing bleach, fabric softeners, ironing, and dry cleaning. The washing instructions suggest machine washing in warm water and tumble drying on low, ensuring contaminants such as dirt, greases, and oils are removed to maintain fabric performance.
